I, Lodge Colton, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of New Orleans contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the passengers which were on board the Steamship Chas. Transcriber's Notes:
There is a possibility that the middle initial of the ship name is M. Of the voyages seen
so far, twice the initial was M and 3 times it was W.
1 surname looks like Kugarron or Kugauon or Kugarion.
2 surname looks like Craisford or Crauford.
3 surname if it followed Spanish custom would be Valdés Vid?s.
Second part of surname something like Vidus or Viders.
13 surname looks like Cressuell, could be Cresswell.
18 presumably the captain's wife.
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M259, Reel 59.
